As humans, we have a very good faculty called experience. That often stands us in good stead. We are lucky to have evolved brain which picks up sensory perceptions from objective reality (with attendant ambiguity and noise) and generates precepts using unconscious inference in line with our expectations. Now the resultant templates are archived in our memory, which is called experience. This is both good and bad.
